About the Leadership Program
The Leadership Enhancement Program is a consortium of central Florida colleges that provides leadership development opportunities for program scholars to gain career-enhancing skills and leadership experiences in today’s changing educational environment.
Leadership Program Benefits
Monthly Seminars
A common core of seminars are designed around specific themes relevant to higher education
administration. Combined with focused learning experiences, these seminars serve as the foundation upon which
LEP scholars tailor the program to meet their individual needs and career goals.
Mentors
Participants are assisted in selecting at least one mentor to work with them to further develop their
professional knowledge, skills, and abilities as a means of reaching their career goals.
Leadership Institute
The annual leadership institute, offered during the Spring semester, features a variety of
leadership workshop sessions. In addition, leadership scholars are required to source, develop, and facilitate a project of their own choosing that is presented at the Leadership Institute conference.
Graduation Reception
A graduation reception is also held during the Spring semester to celebrate the successful
completion of the program. At this time, each graduate receives a certificate of completion.
